Pushing for Peace was designed and implemented by the SWaCH waste picker cooperative, the KKPKP waste picker union, the Pune Shivajinagar Rotary Club, the Portland Pearl Rotary Club, and a Rotary Peace Fellow from the USA. The Pune Municipal Corporation and countless citizen volunteers in Pune donated in kind to the project and assisted in its implementation.
