Pushing for Peace was designed and implemented by the SWaCH waste picker cooperative, the KKPKP waste picker union, the Pune Shivajinagar Rotary Club, the Portland Pearl Rotary Club, and a Rotary Peace Fellow from the USA.  The Pune Municipal Corporation and countless citizen volunteers in Pune donated in kind to the project and assisted in its implementation.  Sincere thanks to Rotary International, Rotary District 3131 (India), Rotary District 5100 (USA) and District 5100 Rotary Clubs of the Portland Pearl, Downtown Portland, Greater Clark County, Newburg, Hermiston and Columbia County for funding this project.  If you would like more information about Pushing for Peace, or would like advice on how Rotarians and Rotary Peace Fellows can work together on Global Grant projects, please contact:
